 HELP KEEP OPERA ALIVE IN OTTAWA

Producing OPERA is a very expensive venture, with the cost of the soloists, the chorus, the orchestra, venue rental, insurance, costumes, props, printing costs, general administration etc.  The revenue generated from ticket sales covers only about 60% of the total budget.  While OperOttawa has been successful to a certain

extent in the past in acquiring modest grants from governmental sources, it is still not enough.  We need to do special FUNDRAISING EVENTS such as the September GALA CONCERT and Silent Auction. And even then, it may not be enough.

HOW SPECIFICALLY YOUR GIFT CAN HELP:

$100 donation will help cover the cost of a few of our CHORUS MEMBERS

$250 donation will cover the cost of our rent for our rehearsals

$500 donation will help offset the cost of our insurance

$1,000 donation will pay the fee for a few of our soloists

$1,500 donation will pay the fees for several of our orchestra members
